Saint George University Medical Center (SGUMC) and the Faculty of Medicine at Saint George University of Beirut (SGUB) are seeking highly qualified and motivated Family Physicians to join their clinical and academic teams on a full-time or part-time basis.

1. Position Highlights
− Dual Appointment: Serve as both a faculty member at SGUB and a practicing physician at SGUMC.
− Comprehensive Clinical Engagement: Provide dedicated family medicine and primary care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
− Academic Leadership: Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in Family Medicine and related primary care areas.
− Research & Innovation: Engage in clinical and community-based research contributing to medical advancements and primary healthcare delivery.
− Community Service & Public Health: Participate in outreach initiatives, preventive healthcare programs, and community health awareness efforts to improve access to family and primary care.
− Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work with colleagues across internal medicine and other specialties to enhance patient outcomes and care continuity.
2. Role
− Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both ambulatory and inpatient family medicine services.
− Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows using structured, learner-centered approaches such as Team-Based Learning (TBL) and other innovative training methodologies.
− Participate in clinical research and scholarly activities relevant to family medicine and primary care.
− Contribute to the development of curricula and educational programs in Family Medicine at SGUB.
− Engage in community health service programs, awareness campaigns, and advocacy for primary care and preventive medicine.
− Collaborate with other faculty and hospital staff to advance family medicine services and institutional growth.
3. Qualifications
− Completion of residency in Family Medicine from an accredited institution.
− Advanced training qualifications are assets (e.g., American / Arab Board Certification or equivalent).
− Skills in Occupational Medicine and Geriatrics are considered assets.
− Clinical, academic, research, and community health experience are assets.
− Strong commitment to family medicine education, patient-centered care, community service, and public health initiatives.
− Licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Lebanon.
− Fluency in English and Arabic (French is an asset).
