Key Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent patient care
- Takes patient medical histories
- Updates patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments
- Reviews and interprets test results
- Educates, counsels, and assists patients and families regarding current health problems and health maintenance activities
- Responds to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being
- Cooperates with various medical staff, such as anesthesiologists, surgeons, internal medicine specialists /subspecialists, pediatricians and nurses, to provide patient care
- Monitors patients' conditions and progress and revaluates treatments as necessary
- Share information both when requested and when anticipating someone might have a need
- Mentors’ medical students
- Maintains punctual presence for assigned work days/nights and weekends, in compliance with SGHUMC Human Resources policy on attendance
- Adheres to the bylaws of SGHUMC
Job Requirements:
- MD or professional degree in medicine from an accredited medical school
- 2 to 3 years of hospitalist experience
- Successful completion of an accredited residency program in orthopedics surgery
- Having the Colloquium and license to practice medicine from MOPH
