The Inhalation Therapy Unit role is to ensure safe, effective, and timely provision of respiratory care services to patients, such as measuring arterial blood gases, initiating mechanical ventilation, providing ventilator management and aerosol therapy.
Eight inhalation therapists and two inhalation therapy workers are assigned to carry out these services 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week under the direction of the Chief-Pulmonary Division.
