The Sterile Supply Center (STS) prepares, sterilizes, stores and issues medical-surgical supplies for patient care. The STS is divided into two main sections to accomplish the functions of assembly & sterile processing, storage and distribution. It is run by a Registered Nurse who has her training in decontamination and sterilization processes.
