The neurosurgery division at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center provides holistic neurosurgical care i.e., diagnosis, surgery and follow-up. Diagnosis includes laboratory work-up and advanced CT, MRI and cerebral angiography. Our surgical management goes beyond brain surgeries to cover spine surgeries, peripheral nerve surgeries and pediatric neurosurgeries.
We surgically manage disorders of the brain such as stereotactic procedures, aneurysms, traumas, malignant and benign brain tumors, vascular malformation, epilepsy surgery, shunts…, simple and complex disorders of the spine like stenosis, disc diseases, spinal injuries, spinal fractures, spinal tumor, etc… and peripheral nerve disorders including peripheral nerve tumors, injuries or others conditions as well.
Our division also surgically manages congenital neurological disorders such as Spina Bifida.
Moreover, the neurosurgery division is proud of its residency training program in affiliation with internationally renowned programs in Belgium and France.
