The urology division at Saint George University Medical Center provides a wide range of advanced services by well-trained attending physicians.
Our division is a regional center for minimally invasive therapy of stone disease: kidney stones endoscopically, urological cancer surgical activity, laparoscopy, infertility, impotence therapy, male and female incontinence, pediatric urology and kidney transplantation. For small urinary stones, Shockwave Lithotripsy is used as an outpatient procedure.
The Lithotripsy machine is one of the best machines, fully automated and pain-free. Diagnostic procedures have become a mainstay in modern urology; that is why the Urology division offers a wide array of diagnostic tools: Flexible cystoscopy, Ultrasound-guided biopsy of the prostate and a full urodynamic laboratory for lower urinary tract disorders.
