A lot of Controversy has arisen about the use of Power morcellation in minimally invasive surgery. It all started when reports about the role of power morcellation in spreading undiagnosed uterine sarcoma during surgery for benign indications. The FDA has issued a warning against the use of Power morcellation in 2014.

 Since then Hospitals have reconsidered their policy regarding the use of power morcellation. Nowadays, some gynecologic surgeons believe that power morcellation is still safe to use and others believe otherwise. Please join us to for a literature  update on the issue.
