Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of specialized and routine activities at the Operating Room, Open-Heart division. Including setting up and operating the Extra Corporeal Circulation (ECC) machine and related apparatus according to hospital policies and procedures, manufacturer’s recommendations and direct surgeon instructions. Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all regulatory and accreditation standards. Reflect the mission, vision, and values of Saint George Hospital University Medical Center (SGHUMC) and the Nursing Services Department Professional Practice Model.
Job Requirements:
♦ Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Sciences field, such as BS Chemistry / Biology or Laboratory.
♦ Minimum 2 years’ experience in perfusionist position
♦ Good knowledge of spoken and written Arabic, French/English.
♦ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
♦ Good observation skills and attention to details
♦ Able to manage time and set a plan of action prioritizing work.
