Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates purchasing activities across supplies, equipment, maintenance, contracts, and services. Ensures efficient procurement processes, compliance with budgets and policies, and effective supplier management. Supports the Manager in tendering processes, staff supervision, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
♦ Supervises procurement staff and oversee daily purchasing operations
♦ Monitors and improve purchasing procedures, ensuring compliance with policies
♦ Reviews specifications, pricing, and supplier offers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
♦ Manages and controls bidding and tendering processes
♦ Negotiates contracts and evaluates supplier performance
♦ Oversees purchase orders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
♦ Reviews maintenance and service contracts in coordination with technical departments
♦ Assists in supplier evaluations and tender committee activities
♦ Handles urgent procurement requests and coordinate with end users on new requirements
Job Requirements:
♦ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration (or equivalent) with relevant experience
♦ 5 to 6 years experience
♦ Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
♦ Good analytical thinking and commercial awareness
♦ Fluent in Arabic and English and/or French
♦ Computer proficient
