Job Summary:
The Quality & Patient Safety Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in compliance with national and international standards (MOPH & JCI). This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement and patient safety programs, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
♦ Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and patient safety standards
♦ Develops and monitors quality improvement and risk management programs
♦ Conducts audits, assessments, and performance evaluations
♦ Leads incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA)
♦ Identifies risks and implements preventive and corrective actions
♦ Collaborates with Infection Control and Health & Safety teams
♦ Provides training and education on quality and patient safety practices
♦ Analyzes data and performance indicators to drive improvement initiatives
♦ Participates in tracer activities and hospital committees
♦ Supports development of policies, procedures, and best practices
Job Requirements:
♦ Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, or a related field (Required)
♦ Master’s degree in Quality, Healthcare Administration, or Patient Safety (Preferred)
♦ Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, risk management, or patient safety
♦ Strong communication and organizational skills
♦ Knowledge of healthcare quality standards (MOPH, JCI preferred)
♦ Analytical and problem-solving abilities
♦ Experience with RCA, safety event classification, and QI tools.
♦ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data dashboards
♦ Fluency in Arabic and English
