Key Responsibilities:
♦ Implements infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and procedures.
♦ Supports development and coordination of the IPC program and annual risk assessment.
♦ Serves as a resource to clinical and non-clinical staff for IPC guidance and issue resolution.
♦ Conducts audits and inspections to ensure compliance with IPC protocols.
♦ Investigates infection clusters/outbreaks and initiates corrective actions.
♦ Trains and supervises new staff involved in IPC activities.
Job Requirements:
♦ B.S. in Nursing/Public Health/Health Sciences + 4 years’ experience, or MS + 2 years’ experience in Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases, or Isolation Precautions.
♦ Strong computer and statistical analysis skills.
♦ Proficiency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
♦ Excellent communication, analytical, reasoning, and presentation skills.
