Position Overview:
Manage, maintain and monitor databases performance. Ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency. Design, implement, and optimize database systems. Handle backups /recovery and manage user access and permissions.
Key Responsibilities:
♦ Create and maintain database standards and policies
♦ Ensure that thedatabaseserverprovidesongoingand continuous service to variousapplications
♦ Implement security measures and frameworks while ensuring compliance
♦ Ensure data recoverability, data integrity, security, maximum availability, andproper performance while managing efficient storagefacilities
♦ Collaborate with the Development Unit for development andtesting
♦ Collaborate with the Application Support section for performance analysis andtuning
Job Requirements:
♦ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Engineering university degree orequivalent
♦ 3 years’ experience of Oracle database administration with Oracle database certification
♦ Good knowledge of spoken and written Arabic and English. French is aplus
♦ Good team player
