Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse in the Hemodialysis Unit is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This role involves planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:
♦ Assess and educate every new patient prior to initiating dialysis and as needed thereafter.
♦ Administer hemodialysis treatments safely and accurately, following prescribed protocols.
♦ Record all data related to the hemodialysis session.
♦ Continuously observe and assess patients during treatment to identify any complications or adverse reactions.
♦ Promptly report any patient concerns or complications to the attending physician or appropriate medical practitioner.
♦ Develop, maintain, and update individualized nursing care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
♦ Collaborate with all the implicated teams, including Infection control, Quality control and Medical Engineering teams…. to ensure that the dialysis treatment is given effectively and safely.
Requirements:
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
or License Technique (LT) in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
♦ Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English, French is an advantage
♦ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
♦ Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
♦ Computer literacy
