Key Responsibilities:
♦ Carries out installation, and maintenance of all computers as assigned by the Network and Communication Manager. Includes checking hardware, installing standard software, connecting printers and keyboards and maintaining same
♦ Carries out a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance on all computers. Includes detecting possible malfunction, coordinating with various departments or suppliers and carrying out the required maintenance. Informs Network and Communication Manager of corrective action taken
♦ Performs other related duties such as maintaining department store, preparing orders of spare parts for Network and Communication Manager approval, scavenging usable spare parts, escorting contractor technician during preventive maintenance, assisting with demonstrations and site preparations, and assisting electricians in determining necessary wiring changes etc.
♦ Provides all users the first level of support
Job Requirements:
♦ TS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
♦ 2 years experience in PC installation and maintenance
♦ Fair knowledge of written and spoken Arabic, French and English
