Key Responsibilities:
♦ Receives delivery from Stores Clerk and Storekeeper and proceeds to prepare order. Includes picking up different items from various locations, grouping them in loading area and loading same into van and / or prepares to hand carry for delivery and unloading at destination
♦ Delivers items by van and / or manually to assigned locations as per delivery order and specified instructions.
♦ Collects items from various stores and various departments for returning to Main Store as per instructions and approval of Stores Clerk
♦ Participates, when necessary, in unpacking and storing items at Main Store at the request of Stores Clerk and Storekeeper and by applying FIFO procedure
♦ Communicates discrepancies to Stores Clerk, Storekeeper, Stores Supervisor or Assistant Manager for Stock and inspects along with the End user the delivered items
♦ Performs other similar or related duties such as maintaining stores clean and tidy, observing safety rules and regulations, etc.
Job Requirements:
♦ Completion of Elementary (6 years) education
♦ No previous experience required, 3 months on-the-job training
♦ Working knowledge of spoken Arabic and English / French
♦ Valid Lebanese driving license
