Back Recruitment Officer

Key Responsibilities:

♦ Carries out a variety of activities related to the recruitment / placement of candidates to fill job vacancies. Includes receiving recruitment requests from departments, participates and insures the necessary budget approval and advertising job openings in accordance with job specifications
♦ Reviews vacancies with the concerned Manager, ascertains the adequacy of the relevant Job Description and outlines the recruitment process for the said job
♦ Receives and answers applications, meets, interviews and screens candidates from within and outside the Hospital. Recommends candidates eligible for the vacant position, considering personality, education, experience and test results. Recommends employees for transfer requests. Prepares alternatives positions for which unsuccessful candidates may qualify. Enters applicant’s data on the computer for archiving and rapid retrieval
♦ Carries out advertising processes to hire proper candidates. Includes preparing appropriates advertisements, making contacts with educational institutions and advertising agencies to select candidates, specifying dates of advertisements, placing advertisements internally and on web, and coordinating with the finance department for payment mechanisms
♦ Participates in composing offer letters and negotiating salary and benefits as per the Hospital salary scale
♦ Receives newly recruited employees, ensures necessary certificates and documents required for employment are available. Arranges for pre-employment medical examination of selected candidates according to Hospital policy and procedure
♦ Conducts orientation sessions and arranges on-the-job training for newly recruited staff, ensures they understand details and responsibilities of the job, and become familiar with Hospital policies, rules and regulations and provide them with an employee handbook


Job Requirements: 

♦ B.A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
♦ 2 years’ experience in recruitment and placement
♦ Good knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English / French
♦ Good Communication Skills
♦ Computer literate
