Key Responsibilities:
♦ Assists the department manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Admission and Patients Accounts department
♦ Collaborates with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, timely patient admissions, and accurate billing processes
♦ Acts as a point of contact for addressing operational issues, answering staff inquiries, and resolving any challenges that arise
♦ Supports the department manager in managing and guiding the admission and billing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
♦ Assists in training new employees, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively
♦ Contributes to regular audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of patient records, billing, and coding practices
♦ Supports process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness
♦ Assists in implementing changes to streamline workflows, improves documentation practices, and enhances patient satisfaction
♦ Collaborates with the department manager and other stakeholders in evaluating and implementing new technologies or systems to optimize operations
Job Requirements:
♦ Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business management, or in a related field
♦ 5 years of experience out of which two years in supervisory level in healthcare setting
♦ Knowledge of healthcare billing processes, insurance verification and reimbursement guidelines is an advantage
♦ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
♦ Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
♦ Very good knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English/French
♦ Computer literate
