Key Responsibilities:
♦ Ensures that the database server provides ongoing and continuous service to the various applications
♦ Safeguards the recoverability of data and its integrity
♦ Ensures the security and maximum availability of data as well as its proper performance and efficient storage facilities
♦ Interacts with the Development Unit for assistance in areas related to development and testing and with the Application Support section for issues related to performance analysis and tuning
♦ Upgrades from older Oracle databases to newer versions
Job Requirements & skills:
♦ B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
♦ Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Oracle DBA
♦ Attention to details
♦ Problem solving skills
♦ Good analytical skills
♦ Good command of Arabic and English / French
