Key Responsibilities:
Performs pharmaceutical duties at the Hospital Pharmacy.
Participates in controlling medication storage and regular inventory, supervises medications repackaging, compounds of pharmaceutical preparations and medications, assists in the management of narcotics and psychotropes, reviews medication orders and patient profiles, dispenses medication orders, monitors and evaluates patient medication therapy, communicates shortages, medication recalls and new medication availabilities, provides drug information, communicates and works cooperatively with all healthcare practitioners and pharmacy staff, participates in medication errors and adverse drug investigations, prepares pharmaceutical reports and protocols, makes critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests.
Job Requirements:
♦ B. Sc. degree in Pharmacy plus license to practice from Ministry of Public Health and member of Syndicate of Pharmacists
♦ Preferably having 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Hospital Pharmacist
♦ Great organizational skills
♦ Good observation skills and attention to details
♦ Ability to work carefully, methodically and accurately with medicines
♦ Computer Literate
♦ Good knowledge of English / French
