Key Responsibilities:
♦ Participates in controlling medication storage and regular inventory
♦ Supervises medications repackaging, compounds of pharmaceutical preparations and medications
♦ Assists in the management of narcotics and psychotropes, reviews medication orders and patient profiles, dispenses medication orders, monitors and evaluates patient medication therapy
♦ Communicates shortages, medication recalls and new medication availabilities
♦ Provides drug information, communicates and works cooperatively with all healthcare practitioners and pharmacy staff
♦ Participates in medication errors and adverse drug investigations, prepares pharmaceutical reports and protocols, and handles frequent interruptions during daily work for urgent issues
♦ Makes critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests
Job Requirements & skills:
♦ B.Sc. Degree in Pharmacy plus license to practice from MOPH and member of Syndicate of Pharmacists
♦ Good communication skills for dealing with staff and health professionals
♦ Good organizational skills
♦ Ability to work carefully, methodically and accurately with medicines
♦ Adaptability to changes in workload/schedule/on call duties
♦ Good knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English / French
♦ Computer Literate
