Basic Function:
Supervises and coordinates nursing service functions and activities during evening and night shifts. Includes ensuring patients receive proper care, adherence of nursing staff to professional and ethical conduct, arranging for un-scheduled and emergency interventions, implementing and maintaining established policies and procedures, securing adequate and safe environment, allocating beds in the absence of the Head Nurse and in coordination with the Assistant Head Nurses and Night Staff Nurses
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
♦ Holder of a B. Sc. degree in Nursing with 7 years-experience in Clinical Nursing, out of which 2 years in a supervisory level
Or Master of Sciences in Nursing with 5 years-experience in Clinical Nursing, out of which 2 years in a supervisory level
♦ High degree of interpersonal skills. Effective leadership and management skills
♦ Displays compassion and empathy
♦ Driven, energetic, able to motivate team
♦ Good observation skills and attention to details
♦ Good knowledge of English / French
♦ Computer Literate
