Back Medical Transcriber for the Medical Records Department

Basic Function:

Transcribes a variety of medical reports summaries for inclusion as official and legal documents in medical records. Performs other general typing activities related to the department.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

♦ Holder a diploma in Secretarial Studies

Or Completion of Secondary Education plus one year of formal secretarial training

♦ 1 to 2 years’ experience as a typist preferably in a Hospital

♦ Good typing speed / accuracy

♦ Computer Literate

♦ Good Knowledge of written & spoken English or French
