Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of pharmaceutical duties at the Hospital Pharmacy. Includes reviewing medication orders for appropriateness prior to dispensing, preparing different kinds of pharmaceutical solutions and medications, providing information and consultation to physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals regarding appropriate drug therapy, participating in investigating medication errors and adverse drug reactions and in controlling drug storage areas in the hospital for adequacy of drug stock. Participates in the hospital and department inventory taking.
Job Requirements:
♦ B. Sc. degree in Pharmacy plus license to practice from Ministry of Public Health and member of Syndicate of Pharmacists
♦ Preferably having 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Hospital Pharmacist
♦ Great organizational skills
♦ Displays compassion and integrity
♦ Good observation skills and attention to details
♦ Ability to work carefully, methodically and accurately with medicines
♦ Computer Literate
♦ Good knowledge of English / French
