The successful candidate will need to be organized, able to manage time, proactive and dynamic; has laboratory, leadership and decision-making skills as the job requires extensive scientific knowledge, as well as the ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with laboratories and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises and directs the activities of technical personnel in the Molecular Laboratory section and performs day-to-day validation of results. Participates in developing and setting up new laboratory procedures and instructs technologists in applying such procedures. Oversees quality control practices. Investigates deviations from established procedures to ensure effective corrective action. Oversees the safety of laboratory activities, making sure staff members adhere to established protocols, procedures, and regulations.
Job Requirements:

♦ Good observation skills and attention to details
♦ Possess good command of Arabic, English and/or French
